Quick Styles With BB: Banana Clip Play...

Hey all!!

So, we bought some banana clips about a year ago, because they were on sale at my local beauty supply and the girls had NEVER seen them... So, I bought them to have a historic piece in the house!!! LOL

Now, BB wanted a cute style that didn't take much work to do, but she wanted it to be sleek and what she considered "RIGHT" on her... So, I pulled out the banana clip, and got to work.

Products Used:

Blended Beauty Happy Nappy Styles
Blended Beauty Natural Hair Oil
Water

I sprayed her hair down with water, put on about 3 quarter sized amounts of the Natural Hair Oil, massaged it in for about a minute, and then put on about a good 3 quarter sized amounts of the Happy Nappy Styles, and massaged it in. Her hair was detangled and didn't need to be combed or brushed. gave her a pompadour up top (Simply pulled up (with my hand) the part I wanted to stick up and be wavy), and banana clipped the back to keep it sleek and tight to her head, w/out brushing it.

Before bed, I twisted her hair up:

The next morning, we took off her head scarf,  put a little extra oil on the sides of her hair and re-positioned the banana clip, took out the twists (CAN WE SAY TWIST OUT!?!?!),  and VOILA... DONE!

How gorgeous is that!?!!??! It only took MAYBE 20 minutes to do... So pretty!!!

Michelle G * Thank you, Sis!! Right?!?!? My hair is entirely too thick for a banana clip... When I was permed though?!?! Yeah... I wore them like a champ when I was young! LOL :) And, the Blended Beauty is greatness!

Hi Char, ~waving at you~ I love the Banana Clips on your daughter's hair. Although the Banana Clips are easy to add to the hair, it gave her a more mature look than just the pony tail. I also like the bump your daughter had on the top of her hair. It was so cute. I could rock that style and I an 31-years-old. Love it!

I remember the banana clip from back in the day! This looks so good in her hair--really sets off allll those curls and they aren't scrunched up in a pony tail!
