BB's Flat Twisted Faux Hawk Style With A Rose!! :)

Hey all,

So, today I did BB's hair for the school week.  I wanted to do something different for her, and also create something that would stand out and have her hair match her eclectic personality!!

In my awesome, out there thought process, I came up with a Faux Hawk that was constructed with flat twists.

Products Used:

Proclaim Emerald Bergamot Hair And Scalp Conditioner

Olive Oil EcoStyler Gel

Water

First, I parted her hair into three sections:

I then started on the right side... flat twisting to my hearts content using the Proclaim and EcoStyler:

To the left...To the left... Hmmmm!! Flat twisting time:

Then, I took down the center part:

Once I took the center down, I was a bit confused as to what to do.  My first thought was to use my perm rods to roll it up and give it more of a curly fro look throughout the week... But, that would have been HECK to keep up throughout the week...

So, I sectioned off a piece of the center and flat twisted it into a style of sorts:

I then took the flat twists I did in the center and rolled the hair left out (from those twists) around each other and made a 'rose bun':

I then sprayed her hair down with water, put some Proclaim on it and a little Eco Styler and finger combed it... AND... VOILA!!! A lovely Faux Hawk for a Lovely BB:

This was a REALLY fun hairstyle to do!! I enjoy thinking up hairstyles on the whim and putting them into action.  She loves it, I love it... And you KNOW what that means, right?!?!? WIN/WIN for everybody! :)
