Refreshing Choca's Twists!!! :)

Hey all,

So... Choca has been rocking this style for about 1 1/2 weeks now...

As of a couple of days ago, it was looking like this:

Now, although it was still really cute, it was FRIZZY!! My goodness... This weather (hot, cold, rainy, burning hot) has her hair going through a metamorphosis.  It's growing really well.. But, it does tend to dry out a bit more when the weather is all over the place.

Sooooooooooooooooooo... I decided to redo her hair style... I updated the braids a bit, and used a different mixture of products to give her that protective covering her hair needs in this weather...

What did I use, you ask?!?!

PRODUCTS USED:

LITTLE MISS FUZZY HEAD
AFRICAN PRIDE MAGICAL GRO
TEA TREE LEAVE IN CONDITIONER

Let me tell you... This mixture really made her hair extra soft and curly!!! It was very easy to finger detangle and moisturized her hair amazingly!

The finished product:

I changed up the braid design a bit.

Can you see the shine?!?!? AND... The Little Miss Fuzzy Head has a nice, thick consistency that keeps Choca's hair coated and protected from the elements!!! We shall see how it looks in a week!! :)

As you can see, she's overjoyed with it...

WIN/WIN!! :)

Her hair looks great! I just whipped up a mixture of oils with some shea butter a couple of days ago to put on my daughters hair. It makes it soft and manageable. They have been relaxer free since 2009 and that can make their hair a little harder to manage but we are used to it now. It was hard for me especially since my hair texture is totally different and now I regret the years of relaxers. One of my daughters had dreads that were started while her hair was long but changed her mind and wanted them cut so now just natural twists and braids as her hair is growing back in.

Keep up the great work!

Alice * Thank you so much!!! Yes... Once you find out what works on your/their hair, it's so much easier to manage. I'm truly glad you were able to mix up some goodies and see the difference it made in your daughters hair!! I'm glad that my blog could encourage you and keep you on track! That's what I'm here for!!
