Homeschooling/Unschooling: MATH!!!! (WITH VIDEO)

Hey all!!!

So, I'm bringing you an AWESOME math technique in this blog post.  Choca and I love to count (counting is great).. But, math?!? Yeah... Math was one of those things that I kept trying to figure out HOW to bring it to a TWO year old and get her INTERESTED in doing it... So... I thought of one of my FAVORITE games... You ready!?!??

What a concept right?? I'm sure it's not a NEW concept, but it's new to me! :) We LOVE playing Dominoes over here, so what's better than having her join in on the fun....basic math style!! :)

I started with the ones first (1-6) and we counted together... It was our FIRST experience at this, but I'd say she did a great job!!! (Yes... We have a video!!!)

As you can see, doing math with a little one is INTERESTING... Especially for the first time... But, SHE DID AWESOME!! I'm a proud mommy right now! :)

A few pictures of Choca & her math goodies!!!

After our session, I gave her a flavored water drink... And she was happy!

I hope this post helps all of my Homeschooling Mommies (and Daddies) out there!! It's really easy... For this to be our FIRST time and for her to do pretty good is great.  I can't wait to see how she is in TWO weeks!! :)

What are some of your math games you play with your children??

Comments: Leave them here!!

Keep Watching,

When they are little it isn't too bad homeschooling.. but I can honestly say I am thrilled there is such a thing as school buildings and teachers.. lol! If there was not, my kids wouldn't stand a chance in this world with Math! LOL!
