A Dry Twist Out With Another Product...

Hey all,

So, a really good friend of mine Angela over at Angela's KISS has her own hair/beauty products (ALL NATURAL), and she sent me some to try out on my hair.  So, today, I decided to use the White Chocolate Scent All Natural Moisturizing Hair Cream on my twists for my twist out.  

Ingredients:

Ivory Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Lanolin, Tea Tree Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Emulsifying Wax, Stearic Acid, Distilled Water, Citric Acid, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Horsetail Extract, Aloe Vera Gel, Vanilla Extract, Bergamot & Lavender Oil

The smell of this product is absolutely AMAZING!!! It smells like CHOCOLATE folks!! My goodness!!! It's really light to the touch, and not too greasy. For 4oz., it's $12.00 and for 8 oz., it's $18.00. 

Now, my hair isn't a fan of coconut oil, however I've never used it in conjunction with other products, so I was excited to try it.  Also, to have it paired up with Shea Butter really had me wanting to try it.... So, HERE WE GO!!!

I decided on doing a 'dry twist out' on my hair... Meaning: I put the product on my dry hair and twisted it up.  I usually wet my hair first and then put the product on.  But today, I wanted to try ONLY the product to see how it works on my hair!! :) 

In the following pictures, you'll see how my hair looks immediately after putting the product on.  My hair is very shiny and smells fantastic:

I then decided to put some rollers on the ends to give my twist out a little extra flair:

I put a headband around the front of my head in order to keep any grease or oil from coming into my face through the night.  Now, the product isn't that greasy at all, however I don't want ANY greasy products on my face... 

So, when I got up in the morning, I took off my headband and took out my rollers:

I then took out the twists and separated them...

Ummm... Yes, please!
