Polka-Dot Prettiness!! Happy Monday! :) *PINK OVERDOSE*

Hey all!

So, today Choca, BB and I are under the weather.   We have major colds going on!! We are sitting up in a house filled with the smell of lemon, ginger, VapoRub and cayenne pepper... and it smells so good!! For my prayer warriors, send those prayers up! :)

Anyway, EVEN though we don't feel well, Choca gave me the camera!! If you all didn't know, taking pictures is a HUGE pastime of mine and Choca TRULY enjoys having her picture taken.

So, she brought me a cute polka dot dress (that we found at WalMart on clearance for $3.00).  I paired it with a cute pink headband and flower!!!

Then, I got to taking pictures!!!

Even with them being under the weather, they manage to be as beautiful as can be!!!

I hope this brightens your Monday, folks!!! I wanted to put something up, even though I'm feeling out of it! :)

Much love all!!

BB's Braided/Beaded Headband & Pony Puff-Tail :)

Hey all,

So, today I decided to give BB a really cute Braided Headband look. Braided Headbands are one of my favorite things to do on my girls, because they make ANY hairstyle pop to me!!

Anyway, today I was going to attempt a hairstyle for our Harvest Festival at our church, but that was a HUGE and unsightly...

So, I calmed my nerves (YES, I GOT UPSET A BIT!!!), and I tried another style.  I decided to give her a braided headband, with some beading at the end.  I then cornrowed another braid in the front and gave her a beaded design on the ends.  I decided to stay with a pink theme to finish off October with a PINK bang!!!

Our Breast Cancer Awareness Posts:

With the "partial-cornrow" I did in the front, I split it about 1/4 way down into two braids.  I then added a beaded design on each braid and rubber banded them together at the end to give it a little flair. I also left some of her curls out to really make it POP and stand out! I then gave her a side pony puff-tail that she can wear out in a puff, OR twist up and have a nice twisted tail to rock... Either way, it's beautiful!!!

Products I used:

A homemade leave in concoction:

 -- Suave Conditioner
 -- EVOO
 -- Water
Water
Clear, Pink, Black, White Beads
(2) rubber bands
(1) Ponytail holder
Comb

Pictures of the process:

TWISTED TAIL:

Her beaded loop is too cute, right??? I'm a fan of the loop... As you see here... especially on BB! :)

So, this style will last a good 2 weeks.  I will re-do the ponytail next week to extend the style, but otherwise, she's good to go!!!

Oh, and she LOVES IT!! :) WIN/WIN for everyone!! :)

I hope you enjoyed this post, all!! :)

Walking In An Autumn Fairyland...A Choca Story

Once Upon A time, there was a little Queen To Be named ChocaChip...

This little lovely was on a PINK kick... Ever since this month came about (October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month... We have a couple of post in honor of it... This Great One...And This Awesome One!!!)

Anyway, this wonderful day, Choca wanted to be a PINK (the word of the month) Fairy.  A week or so ago, I went to WalMart, and rummaged through the dollar bins.  I found a cute little pink tutu for $.50 (wooooohoooooo), and four pink fairy wands for $1.00.  I thought it was a steal, so I picked it up.

So, I went and got her a white tank top to wear.  She said, "NO, MOMMY!! PINK! PINK SHIRT!" -- So, I had to SEARCH her dresser drawers for a pink shirt... Ummm... being that I'm not a huge fan of pink,  looking for a pink shirt was pretty impossible... BUT, I found a little onesie... HAHA... A little smaller than schemedium on her!! LMBO! -- But, she said, "THAT MOMMY!! THAT SHIRT!" So, I stuffed her in it!

I then found her some old tights (PINK OF COURSE), because the tutu is pretty sparse (I will be adding to it though!! Can't wait... Gotta go get some tulle). I put those on her, along with some cute leg warmers and her 'shiny shoes' that she picked out a while back. I topped it off with a bow I got for less than $1.00 at the beauty supply! She then GAVE me the camera, as always, and I took some pics:

After these two pics, she said, "JACKET MOMMY!! PINK JACKET!" -- *sigh* So, into the closet we went.  She saw an OLD sweater jacket that she hasn't worn for over a year (LMBO...I'm gonna make SOMETHING out of it), and picked it out... I STUFFED her in it... And she said, "I'M READY FOR PITCHERS MOMMY!" -- (haha... that's how she says pictures)... So, I got to snapping:

After this CATWALK session, She found another PINK sweater in the closet, so she switched them out, and said, "Mommy, pitchers again!" So, like a good mommy I obliged:

We then looked through all the pictures, and she chose the ones she liked.  She then said, "Mommy, blog me! Blog me, Mommy!" -- And, well... let's just say I did! :)

And we lived HAPPILY EVER AFTER!
